Our Different Materials
Depending on the type of product or opening chosen, various materials can be selected from, for the frame and sash. For our French doors, tilt and slide models, and lift and slide designs, the full range is available; customers can choose between vinyl, aluminum, wood, vinyl aluminum, and aluminum clad wood. For our other products, such as entrance doors, there is then a choice between vinyl, wood, and aluminum, for example.
When it comes to deciding between materials, it’s important to remember that no single one is necessarily better than another; each brings its own unique benefits and will alter design and performance in specific ways that are better suited to certain projects than others.
Modern and sleek, vinyl is particularly affordable and low maintenance, for example. It also provides excellent thermal insulation thanks to the multiple chambers inside its core.
